Foundation of SEICO Industrie-Elektrowärme GmbH, specializing in the development of rail vehicle heating systems, braking resistors and direction indicators. In addition, SEICO also produces heaters for industrial uses.
1939
Foundation of the Hermann Waste engineering bureau.
1945
The factory is completely destroyed in the war. Production continues in makeshift facilities.
1949
Relocation of production to Langenhagen near Hannover, Germany.
1958
Construction of a 4000m² production compound in a new industrial area in Langenhagen.
1964
Construction of a completely new plant begins. The newly founded WASTE Heating GmbH moves into the new facility as well, and Hans Hermann becomes managing director.
1972
Wolfgang and Klaus Hermann take over as managing directors.
2001
Andreas Hermann, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, takes over as managing director.
2006
WASTE Heating GmbH changes its name to SEICO Heating GmbH.
2007
Acquisition of the Swiss company BTA Thermo Engineering AG.
Strict adherence to national and international safety standards such as DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, DGR and ASME Code are first priority at SEICO.
